About

About

Foodie Mob started with one simple idea:

Eat Like a Local.

There are plenty of restaurant listings out there. But most of them don’t tell you what actually matters — what to order, what hits, and what’s worth your time and money.

That’s where Foodie Mob comes in.

We visit restaurants across Tarpon Springs and Pinellas County, order real dishes, and give honest, straightforward takes on what actually stands out. No hype. No over-the-top influencer energy. Just real experiences from real visits.

If we recommend something, it’s because we’d order it again.

What You’ll Find Here

• What to order at local restaurants
• Honest feedback on dishes we try
• Casual, clear restaurant reviews
• Expanding coverage across Pinellas County

We focus on the details that matter — flavor, execution, vibe, and value.

Our Approach

We’re not food critics.

We’re locals who love trying new spots and helping others make better decisions when they sit down at a table.

Every review is based on:
• Real visits
• Real dishes
• Real opinions

If something’s great, we’ll say it.
If something misses the mark, we’ll say that too — respectfully.

Behind the Reviews

Most people see the finished review

What they don’t always see is the time spent visiting local restaurants, talking with staff, taking photos, and paying attention to all the little details that help tell the story.

This was taken during my visit to DayBreak Cafe in Tarpon Springs, while I was enjoying their Frutti di Mare pasta. Every Foodie Mob review starts the same way—pulling up a chair, ordering a meal, and seeing what makes a local restaurant special. From hidden gems to longtime local favorites, my goal is simple: help you discover great local places while supporting the restaurants that make our community unique.

Thank you to everyone who follows, comments, shares, and supports Foodie Mob. There are plenty more local restaurants to explore.

Where We’re Headed

Tarpon Springs is the home base.

From there, we’re building out across Pinellas County — spotlighting the places that deserve attention and helping you avoid the ones that don’t live up to the menu.

Foodie Mob is about building a trusted local food circle.

So when you’re deciding where to eat, you don’t have to guess.

You already know.

🏆 What is a Pinellas Pick?

Pinellas Pick is given to spots that truly stand out.

It’s not easy to earn—and not every place gets one.

A restaurant has to deliver on:

  • Quality
  • Consistency
  • Overall experience

Sometimes it takes more than one visit.

If a spot earns a Pinellas Pick, it’s worth your time.

Our Review Policy

At Foodie Mob, we believe in honest, independent restaurant reviews. That’s why we pay for our own meals whenever possible. We don’t base our opinions on complimentary food or special treatment. Every review reflects our genuine experience, just as any customer might have when visiting.

If a meal or experience is ever provided by a restaurant, it will always be clearly disclosed to our readers.

“Since launching, Foodie Mob has continued to grow with one goal in mind: providing readers with a professional, trustworthy local food guide they can rely on. Every improvement we make is focused on delivering honest reviews, quality photography, and helpful recommendations for our community.”
