Reel BBQ β First Official Foodie Mob Pull-Up Review π₯π

π Palm Harbor, FL
Unlike a lot of food trucks that move around, Reel BBQ stays parked in one location in Palm Harbor, making it easy to stop by when youβre craving BBQ.
Foodie Mob Pull-Up officially kicked off with a stop at Reel BBQ in Palm Harbor, and for the first review in the series, this one definitely set the bar high.
The BBQ tray came loaded with brisket, pulled pork, ribs, baked beans, mac and cheese, homemade pickles, and three different homemade sauces: Sweet, Real Tangy, and Trailer 51.

With drinks included, the total came to around $40, and honestly, the tray was big enough for two people to share comfortably. My wife and I split the tray together and still had plenty of food.

The Meats π
The pulled pork had excellent flavor and was tender without being overly sauced. The brisket was the standout for me β incredibly moist with a rich smoky flavor that honestly reminded me of a good Georgia-style BBQ. The ribs had a great seasoning rub and enough flavor on their own before even being touched by the sauces.

The Sides π§π«
The mac and cheese was creamy, with a solid flavor, and paired especially well with the homemade sauces. The baked beans had a nice smoky sweetness that worked perfectly alongside the meats. The homemade pickles were also a nice touch, helping balance the richness of the tray.
The Sauces π₯
All three sauces were homemade, and each brought something different to the tray. The Sweet sauce was classic and balanced, the Real Tangy sauce added a stronger vinegar kick, and Trailer 51 had its own unique flavor that worked especially well with the brisket and pulled pork.

Overall Experience π
For the first stop in the Foodie Mob Pull-Up series, Reel BBQ delivered across the board. The tray had variety, strong flavor throughout, and portions that felt worth the price. Nothing felt thrown together β from the meats to the sauces, everything worked well together.
π Reel BBQ officially earns the FIRST Pinellas Pick β Food Truck Edition.
If youβre looking for legit BBQ around Palm Harbor, this one is definitely worth the pull-up.
